Puerto de la Ragua: Refugio El Toril
Sunday 22nd of June 2025 10:30 AMThis is a very pleasant walk and it is at high altitude so it is nice and cool.
This circular route walks up from Puerto de la Ragua to the Refugio El Toril. The route is 9.45 km long, has an elevation of 264 m and takes approximately 4 hours to complete.
LONG DESCRIPTION
From the Puerto de la Ragua, we make our way gently upwards to the Refugio del Castañar. After 4.7 km, the uphill ascent starts through the Prado Grande up to the Refugio del Castañar at 2140m and on to the Refugio El Torial at 2150 m. We then follow the track back round through Las Chorreras. We then cross the Morrón de las Tres Lindes before returning to the starting point.
